Trump has really been testing the limits of our democracy, he treats every executive order as if it’s a king’s edict, and if people push back on him he starts to threaten them with prison time and deportation.
The newest idea he wants to implement is having US born citizens labeled as criminals when they dissent, and then having those people deported along with all of the immigrants he has sent to El Salvador.
This is tyranny of the worst kind, the last person to implement this kind of program was a man known as Hitler, and when deporting Jews wasn’t enough, that is when they started up the death camps.
If we are to truly stay a hopeful and free nation we need to keep fighting this at every turn, keep up the pressure, and don’t give in when the orange toddler threatens to lock us up.
In the end, we will overcome fascism.
