Many of you I’m sure know by now that it was Lisa Murkoski who at the 11th hour decided to change her vote on the murder bill from a no (which would have killed the bill) to a yes, because of certain concessions that were given to her state of Alaska, which included financial incentives, and the fact that Alaska gets a two year reprieve on the new upcoming taxes.
She then has the gall to say that the house should change the bill, this kind of rhetoric is why in history books, she will be remembered as the Benedict Arnold that she is.
Benjamin Franklin said it best when he said: “Those who give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety”.
